Aiphotoenhancer ("we", "us") provides an AI-powered photo enhancement service over WhatsApp. This page explains what data we receive, what we use it for, and how long we keep it.

1. Data we receive

• The photos you send. Processed to produce an enhanced version. Photos may contain faces, which count as personal data.
• Your WhatsApp number. Needed to send the result back to the same conversation.
• Your WhatsApp profile name. Supplied automatically by WhatsApp when you send a message.
• The text messages you send to the service number.

We do not ask for and do not need your email address, home address, national ID, or payment details for basic use.

2. How we use it

• To process your photo and send the result back to you.
• To answer questions or complaints you raise in the chat.
• To count usage so we can apply the free quota.
• To keep the service secure and free from abuse.

We do not use your photos to train AI models, we do not sell them, and we do not share them for advertising purposes.

3. How long we keep photos

Your photo is deleted from our servers once the result has been sent back to you. We keep no archive of user photos.

Conversation records (number, timestamps, delivery status) are kept longer for support and quota counting, and can be deleted on request.

A copy of the messages stays in the WhatsApp app on your own device. That copy is outside our control — delete it through WhatsApp if you no longer want it.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you send a photo to our service number, and to perform the service you have requested.

5. Third parties

• WhatsApp (Meta Platforms). Carries messages between you and us. Subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
• Our server infrastructure provider. Runs the photo processing on our instructions.

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

6. Security

Traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Server access is limited to people who need it. Because photos are deleted after processing, the amount of stored data is kept to a minimum.

7. Children

This service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly process children's data. If this happens, contact us for immediate deletion.

8. Your rights

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your data — see our Data Deletion Instructions.
• Withdraw consent by discontinuing use of the service.
• Object to specific processing.

9. Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. Changes take effect when published on this page.
